Behind the Jordan Spine & Rehab Center office in Bloomington, Illinois stands Lauren Jordan, DC. Dr. Jordan has taught chiropractic students at Logan University and mentors numerous physicians who share her commitment to providing patients with hands-on care and, above all, results.

    Wow. Dr. Lauren is incredible. I had debilitating pain (stuck in bed for ~10 days) - Lauren took my (desperate) call (while she was on vacation) and provided solid advice and confident direction. When I hung up the phone, my mind was eased and when I started following her instructions, I found the first sense of relief (and hope) I had experienced in days. If you haven’t had debilitating pain, it’s hard to understand. If you’re reading this (and do) you know what I’m talking about. Dr. Lauren is knowledgeable, confident and personable. It’s apparent she cares. Don’t let her lack of google reviews deter you, look at it as an opportunity to meet this incredible doctor before the rest of Bloomington Normal learns about her and she’s booked full!!!

I have been asked many many times about what items I used for my little one, what I recommend, and what is developmentally friendly for kiddos. So, here it is! I have compiled a list of things to include on a baby registry. These are the items that I found most helpful during the first six-ish months. Now listen- I preach "no buckets" for babies all day every day, but I’m also realistic. I’m a mom. I understand that there are times when you just need to put baby somewhere while you shower. So, here are the best recommendations!

Three month prone, or “tummy time”, is maybe one of the most underrated developmental positions out there. This is the first milestone in a long line-up of milestones, big and small, that will encompass the first thirteen months of your baby’s life. Exciting, scary, and everything in between.
